Ten years have passed since the awful Haddonfield Halloween massacre and the killer Michael Myers has remained dormant in a coma ever since. But during a routine patient transfer he manages to escape and the killing spree starts up again as he heads back to his home town to find the last remaining member of his family, his eight year-old niece. My favourite installment in the series brings with it a new feel in production design and character development. Once again, the killer Myers is played by a stuntman - this time George P. Wilbur (who also revisited the role in part VI). ~ The Lord Michael gets formulaic in this follow up to Halloween II (Not III!). People die. The William Shatner mask sported by our hero doesn't look as good in these subsequent sequels. Weak.~ The Sloth |
