Classic sci-fi tale of paranoia, beautifully scripted and filmed from Jack Finney's story. Try watching it without the comforting wraparound sequences some time.

Remade surprisingly well on anumber of occasions, but somehow the subversion of all that 50s niceness is far more potent in the original.
