Manhattan

1979

Woody Allen
Director

A romance with New York City works out better than any of the more human relationships in this story of assorted New York types.

Aided and abetted by Gordon Willis gorgeous cinematography and strategic Gershwin on the soundtrack. Streep, Keaton and Mariel Hemingway add extra value. My heart still belongs to Annie Hall though.
