Tormented scientist attempts to prolong the life of a fellow doctor by transplanting his brain into a man assembled from corpses.

Lavish attempt to do for Mary Shelley's tale what Coppola achieved for Dracula, but the result somehow lacks the required panache that the earlier film had. Great make-up fx though.
