| Double-crossed hit-man, Marvin, sets out to redress the balance. John Boorman's hard hitting film noir hasn't dated well, it looks 60s, but this is still one of those crucial films that paved the way for Clint Eastwood's later brand of machismo. Marvin as the emotionless, slightly puzzled, "hero" is awesome. |
