Rookie FBI agent is assigned to profile a notorious captured serial killer in the hopes of obtaining insight into the mind of an active killer. I was going to say "not strictly a horror film" - but it is! The genius is allowing the parallel stories of the two serial killers to exponentially increase the suspense of the whole. A perfect movie. A must-have DVD. Followed by Hannibal (2001) and Red Dragon (2002). |
