| On its inauguration night, a 138-storey skyscraper in San Francisco Bay goes up in flames, trapping several big Hollywood stars on the top floor whilst fire chief McQueen organises the rescue plan in a race against time to save the all-star cast before they perish. Spectacular action-packed disaster movie, keeping in trend with the 1970s genre, is as legendary for its on-screen special effects as it is for its off-screen 'battle of the billing' between McQueen & Newman for top spot on the credits roll.
