Skipping merrily over the pros and cons of colonialism, what we have here is a thunderingly good action adventure. What the Alamo is to the Americans, so is Rorke's Drift to the British. Baker and Caine are great, but Nigel Green as the stoic Colour Sergeant Bourne steals the show. |
