In 1912, a young, penniless drifter falls in love with a rich fiancée on board the world's biggest ship, which as it turns out, is four days away from an ill-fated collision with an iceberg in the mid-Atlantic Ocean. It won 11 Oscars and deserved every one of them. ~ The LordFinally a loaded special edition of Cameron's soggy romantic drama. A film that people seem to love or hate (or even love to hate - although I note that a lot of its detractor's haven't actually seen it). I think the film is great cinema, ignore the romance (alright, don't) and watch as a major tragedy unfolds with astonishing attention to detail before your eyes. Highly recommended. ~ The Sloth |
