Unleashed
2005
Director |
| I never fail to be impressed by the athletic prowess of Jet Li, since his eye-popping US debut in Lethal Weapon 4. Alas, no subsequent vehicle has really proved satisfactory and Unleashed falls into that category. The plot is a bizarre martial arts update of Cinderella. Hoskins and Freeman are impeccable, the fights: brutal, the plot: unconvincing. |
