| The much-awaited full-length movie of the popular TV animated show comes alive in full widescreen, a full cast and a half-decent plot. Abe Simpson's seemingly old-age related spasm in church one Sunday is actually a warning of things to come, and soon the entire town of Springfield is encased in a dome by the government after a series of environmental issues raises concern there. Audiences were divided, critics were hurtful, but regardless, it made a huge amount of money and left everybody wanting more. See also the TV series. |
