| Epic story of a Harlem drug-dealer (Washington) versus the US cop (Crowe). With two of Hollywood's leading A-list stars and a bankable director, surely they couldn't get it wrong....could they? The grainy, fuzzy Universal Pictures DVD (my excuse for some of the poorer screenshots posted here) has both the Theatrical and the Extended Cut (extra 18 minutes) of the film. Also available as a 2-disc DVD and on BluRay/HD-DVD formats as well. ~ The Lord Denzel and Russell try to out thesp eachother in this tale of the blurry line betwixt cops and robbers (alright cops and drug dealers). Not as good as it sounds, but well worth a look. Methinks this will be the last big HD-DVD release since it is rumoured that even Toshiba is throwing in the HD towel. ~ The Sloth |
