First episode of The Simpsons has the family celebrating Christmas at home. However, Homer is too ashamed to tell Marge he did not get his christmas bonus so instead takes on a part-time job as an in-store Santa to try and raise some extra cash for the festive season.
When all is looking doomed, a piece of good fortune lands in his lap (literally) and saves the day.
