As Lisa's 8th birthday appraoches she confides in Bart over her concerns of being overlooked this year. Bart's lucky red cap ends up in the wash, causing all of Homer's shirts to turn pink. When he wears it to work Mr. Burns demands he be tested for insanity and thrown into a mental institution, where he meets an inmate claiming to be singer Michael Jackson.

The mental institution and the patients are identical to One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.
