Homer's ignorance with regards to homosexuality rears its ugly head when an antiques store proprietor befriends the Simpsons. Desperate not to let Bart become one of them he, along with Moe and Barney, takes him on a deer hunting trip to make him a 'man'.

Homer: Queer, queer - that's what you like to be called isn't it?
John: That, or John!
