Film Dope

Homer wakes up one morning outside in the snow, but upon returning home he discovers the family are gone. Unable to remember the events of the past 24 hours, he consults first Moe then Professor Frink as to what happened. He re-lives the last day to find a series of events which culminated in another man in a compromising position with Marge, and later she is seen with a black eye.

Clever episode which takes a trip down memory lane for all Simpsons fans during a great sequence of still-frames from episodes in the series. The couch gag (opening sequence) clearly reveals Springfield to be in the state of Illinois.
