Claire has returned to camp after she was taken by Ethan two weeks ago, but she now has no recollection of the events or of the people she now finds herself with. Charlie is desperate to comfort her, but his unreliability is shown through a series of flashbacks when he resorted to thieving from a wealthy heiress in London in order to fund his drugs habit. Back in the jungle, Ethan emerges from hiding to issue an ultimatum: bring back Claire or else he will kill one campmate every day. The first night Boone falls asleep whilst supposedly on look-out duties, with fatal consequences.
