This season one finale originally aired as a double-episode.

The attempt to retrieve the dynamite from the hull of the Black Rock has disastrous consequences for one of the survivors, but the group are not put off, as they march onwards to the hatch to blow it up. At sea the raft loses its rudder and it's down to the bravery of Sawyer to retrieve it before it sinks into the ocean. Danielle has overpowered Claire and taken her baby so it's Sayid and Charlie to the rescue.
